  • Experience writing RESTful services, and/or integrating with 3rd party APIs (critical and relevant even though we’re using gRPC)
  • Go
  • gRPC + Protocol Buffers
  • MySQL or Postgres
  • GraphQL
  • Kubernetes
  • Feature Flags/Feature Gating
  • CI/CD, Jenkins
  • Docker – (Plus to have)
  • Limited .Net/Java (or willingness to do work in .net/Java – generally, focus is golang but will need to do cut-ins, architect the data models based on the old system, create strangler patterns, etc..)
  • AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) (nice to have)
  • DynamoDB (nice to have)
  • Neptune (nice to have)
  • Lambda (nice to have)
  • Step Functions (nice to have)
  • SNS/SQS
  • Distributed Tracing / Open Tracing
